About a 40-minute drive from our facility, the Metasequoia Avenue in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, is a must-see scenic and popular tourist spot. Stretching approximately 2.4 km with over 500 Metasequoia trees, this tree-lined avenue offers a different charm in every season. The autumn foliage season (late November to early December) is particularly breathtaking, when the trees turn vibrant shades of red and orange, creating a magical landscape that’s perfect for Instagram.
